Bus Services
Faith currently partners with Southern Cross Transit (SCT) to operate our bus services but this is changing from the beginning of 2027. For bus travel and bookings up to the end of 2026, the following arrangements are unchanged.
2026 Bus Usage Fees
Students using Faith Bus Services are charged a bus fee by the College.
These fees are in addition to any other fees that are paid to the College as part of a student’s enrolment, and are charged on a per student basis.

Southern Cross Transit (SCT) operate our bus services and utilise the TransportMe Passenger app to manage student travel on Faith Buses. Use the buttons below for further information.
2027 Bus Services
Families are advised that there have been updates to the College bus service arrangements for 2027. The College is confident that these arrangements will maintain a reliable service and provide a more affordable option to families whose children access a bus service to and/or from school.
From Term 1 2027, QBus, a local bus operator, is further expanding their services and will take on all current College bus routes. The existing services run by Zischke Bus Service, Laidley Bus Service and Bus Queensland will continue.
The College bus service, operated through Southern Cross Transit, will cease at the end of 2026 as the commercial bus operators outlined above cover the same routes. For families whose children currently access the College bus service through Southern Cross Transit, we are pleased to advise that QBus fares are lower than the current College bus service fares.
From 2027 families will need to:
- Book and pay directly with your chosen operator. From 2027, you will manage your child's bus travel with the operator, not the College.
- Pay only for the trips your child takes. All operators use the Transport Me app. Students tap on each time they board, and the fare is charged per trip, not in advance for the whole term. If your child doesn't catch the bus every day, you'll save even more.
- Check eligibility for the School Transport Assistance Scheme which assists with transport costs. Families who live more than 3.2km (primary) or 4.8km (secondary) from their nearest state school may qualify. It is recommended that families apply now for 2027 as processing can take some time.
QBus
QBus has expanded their services to also now cover all the previously covered routes serviced by Southern Cross Transit. For more information, including new 2027 route timetables, please refer to the QBus website
Bus Queensland

Zischke Bus Services
Zischke Bus Services collect students from the Hatton Vale/Regency Downs and surrounding areas. To find out more information, or to book your child on one of these services, please phone 5465 6519.
Laidley Bus Service
Laidley Bus Service collects students from the Laidley township and takes these and the students arriving from Grandchester, Mulgowie, (both services operated by Laidley Bus Services) and Blenheim (operated by Gatton Buses) out to Plainland. The changeover occurs at the Laidley District State School. To find out more information including route timetables or to book your child on one of these services, please phone 5465 1797.
Students living within 4.8km of this College or the nearest State High School will need to pay the bus operators a transport fee, which is determined by Queensland Transport.
