Our Way

Learning and wellbeing - together, on purpose.

At Faith Lutheran College, we believe learning works best when students feel safe, supported, and connected.

That’s why we created Our Way - a framework that brings together the two things that shape every student’s success: learning and wellbeing.

Our Way is built on a simple truth: learning and wellbeing are inseparable. When students feel safe, connected, and supported, they’re able to take risks, think deeply, and grow.

Our Way isn’t a program or a slogan: it’s the way we teach, the way we lead, and the way we care.

It shapes what learning looks like in classrooms, how relationships are built, how students are supported, and how we help young people grow into confident, capable learners.

Our Way is brought to life through four practices:

  • Adventurous Learning
  • Compassionate Learning
  • Purposeful Learning
  • Relational Learning

Each practice describes the kind of environment we intentionally create at Faith - the kind where students can thrive, not just survive.

Compassionate Learning: Our Term 2 Focus
This term, we are focusing the second practice of Our Way: Compassionate Learning.

Compassionate Learning is about empathy inclusiveness, and connection to others.
