Extension Requests

With our Year 9 students moving into a new phase and our Year 10s beginning a fresh year, it’s a good time to revisit the extension process in the Exploration Phase. All extensions are approved by the Heads of Learning, Mr Jabez Castray and Mrs Lou Bruce, ensuring consistent expectations across the phase and clear communication with parents.

To submit an extension request, please log in to Parent Lounge. Once logged in, click the “School Links” banner at the top of the page. From the dropdown menu, select “Curriculum.” This will open a list of links, with the Extension Request Form appearing as the first option.

In short: School Links → Curriculum → 2026 Extension Request

Once submitted, the system forwards the request to the Heads of Learning for approval and then notifies teachers automatically.

Assessment Calendar

The Assessment Calendar has now been finalised and shared with all students and parents. We encourage you to refer to this document regularly to keep track of upcoming due dates for each of your subjects. The most effective way to use the calendar is to filter it for your individual classes, allowing you to easily see only the tasks relevant to you.

Please take note of busier weeks and plan your workload accordingly so you can give yourself the best opportunity for success.

Student Spotlight: Selina Appleton

We are delighted to share some exciting news about year 10 student Selina, whose dedication and talent in water skiing continue to shine on the international stage. Selina has been officially invited to compete at the 2026 Moomba Masters International Invitational, where she will participate in Junior Slalom, Tricks, and Jump, as well as the prestigious Open Women’s Tricks division.

Being selected for Open Women’s Tricks is an extraordinary achievement—Selina will be the youngest competitor in the field, going head-to-head with leading international and professional athletes. Adding to her remarkable season, Selina has also been chosen to represent Australia at the 2026 IWWF Under 17 World Championships in Argentina.

Congratulations, Selina! We are incredibly proud of you and wish you every success in your upcoming competitions.
