Term 3, Week 9, 2026

The Final Weeks of Term 3

We are quickly approaching the end of Term 3, and there is a real sense of momentum across the Graduate Phase.

Our Year 12 students have now completed their Mock Exams, while our Year 11 students have recently completed their Exam Block. Although academic focus remains important, the coming weeks also provide opportunities for our senior students to connect, reflect and celebrate as we move towards the final stages of the year.

For our Year 12 students in particular, the countdown is becoming very real — just 11 days of formal schooling remain.

We look forward to making the most of these final weeks together.

Year 12: Crossing the Line

This week, our Year 12 students participated in their final Week 9 Chapel experience, “Cross the Line,” hosted by Robbie Viles.

The activity provided an opportunity for students to reflect, connect and recognise some of the shared experiences that have shaped their time together at Faith.

As students approach the conclusion of formal schooling, these opportunities for reflection and connection are particularly meaningful. While academic achievement is an important part of the senior years, so too are the relationships, experiences and memories students take with them when they leave the College.

Year 12 Wellbeing Days – Week 10

The final week of Term 3 will include three themed days, cohort activities and some friendly competition.

Year 12 students are expected to attend school on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of Week 10.

There is plenty planned, and we encourage students to get involved and make the most of these opportunities to celebrate their final weeks together.

Monday 14 September
• Decades Day
Students are invited to dress from their favourite decade — 70s, 80s, 90s, 2000s or another era of their choice.
• Staff v Year 12 Volleyball Competition
First Break | Sports Hall

Tuesday 15 September
• Dream Job / Future Career Day
Students can dress as their dream job, future career or where they imagine themselves heading after school.
• Year 12 Cohort Kahoot
Second Break | H4

Wednesday 16 September
• Younger Me Day
Students are invited to find a favourite photo of their younger selves and recreate the look.
• Year 12 Handball Tournament
First Break | Sports Hall

Wednesday will also include our Faith Festival and R U OK? Day activities.

Theme Day Expectations
We look forward to seeing students embrace the themes and enjoy these final wellbeing activities.

As always, normal College expectations and non-uniform guidelines continue to apply on theme days. Costumes and clothing should remain appropriate for a school environment and reflect the standards and values of the College.

We encourage students to be creative, have fun and continue to represent Faith positively.

Year 12: Looking Ahead

As we look towards Term 4, there are several important milestones ahead for our Year 12 students.

19–23 October
FOCUS Week

26 October–18 November
External Assessment Period

Thursday 19 November – Year 12 Retreat
The Year 12 Retreat will provide a special opportunity for the cohort to spend one final full day together, celebrate their journey and reflect on the people, experiences and memories that have shaped their years at Faith.

The Year 12 Countdown

11 DAYS OF FORMAL SCHOOLING REMAIN

As the countdown continues, we encourage our Year 12 students to make the most of the opportunities ahead.

These final weeks are about more than assessments. They are an opportunity to celebrate the cohort, strengthen relationships, enjoy shared experiences and reflect on how far students have come.

We look forward to supporting our Year 12 students as they complete this significant chapter of their schooling.

Year 11: Well Done!

A big well done to our Year 11 students on completing their Exam Block.

Students prepared thoroughly for this period, and it was encouraging to see the effort, organisation and commitment demonstrated in the lead-up to their examinations.

Exam Block provides an important opportunity for students to demonstrate the learning and skills they have developed throughout the year, and we commend our Year 11 students for the way they approached the challenge.

Congratulations on your preparation, persistence and commitment.

We hope students take a moment to recognise their efforts and feel proud of what they have achieved. With Exam Block now behind them, we look forward to seeing Year 11 students continue to build their independence and confidence as they progress through the final part of the year.

Graduate Phase Reminders

Parking Permits
With several of our Year 11 students now obtaining their driver's licenses, we would like to remind students that a College parking permit is required for students who drive to school. Students who have recently obtained their license and intend to drive to College should ensure they have applied for the appropriate parking permit.

Changed Vehicles
Students who have changed vehicles are also reminded that their vehicle details need to be updated at Student Services.

Leaving College Grounds

A reminder that Graduate Phase students are not permitted to leave College grounds during the school day. Where a student has an approved reason to leave College, they must sign out at Student Services before leaving the grounds.

Closing Blessing

As we move into the final weeks of Term 3, we encourage all students to remain focused, connected and engaged — making the most of the opportunities, challenges and moments that lie ahead.

“Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.” — Proverbs 16:3

May the coming weeks be marked by purpose, perseverance, gratitude and pride in all that we do, as we continue to support one another and finish the term well.
